Red: Energy, vitality, strong emotion. Excitement, seen especially when experiencing anger. Sometimes fear response and adrenaline can garner this hue. An influx in ego (such as when listening to exhilarating music). Can also run the gamut of more base and negative emotions. Embarrassment, etc.

Dark Red: Tension, anger, hatred. One of the danger colors. Stay away from this individual. If this is an entity like a ghost, this is a malevolent spirit and should be avoided. This is strong emotion mixed with darkness and can signal an ill intent.

Pink: Joy, elation, frivolity, at play, sometimes an enlightened state at rest. A loving or at-peace presence. A good aura to see, though rare. Can be seen around someone climaxing sexually or experiencing bliss. Otherwise, more often seen in angelic presences. 

Orange: Courage, overcoming a challenge. Enjoyment, success, confidence, motivation. This seems to be the color of contentment. It is usually paired with activity however, such as work that the individual enjoys. We also see this in athletic, martial art, or other skilled crafts being performed by an adept.

Yellow: Open and communicative. Insightful, mentally alert, easy going, possibly clairvoyant. This is a color of mental activity and acuity. We see this when one is engaged with reading or otherwise learning, taking a test, or flooded with stimulants like caffeine or Adderall. They are currently sharp and ready. It can also signal they are alerted as in suspicious or looking for something. One of the most common sightings.

Green: Teacher, growth, regeneration, healing qualities, neutral, comforting, relaxed presence. This is often seen around those people you tend to feel comfortable going to for counsel. They have a nurturing persona to them that even animals are attracted to. Of the handful of common colors to see, this is slightly more rare. It is seen when someone is literally actively healing as in recovering from injury or rejuvenating from being sick. If you find this person hasn't been sick or injured, they may have great potential for healing and teaching.

Blue: Balanced. Sensitive, peaceful harmony, at ease. New growth, freshness and spontaneity. Social and charismatic. This is a color we see quite a bit especially in those who are humorous and social butterflies. But not always. Sometimes quiet ones are seen with this aura, and it has been found that in these moments they feel relaxed or that there is a new experience that they feel good about. This could very well be THE most common color you will see. It seems to denote a neutral state and you will even see those who are sleeping donning this color.

Violet: Spirituality or deep thought. This is a high energy wavelength. Those who are presently scrying or engaged in the Arcane. Quite transcended. If they are not presently actively engaged in a spiritual activity then this person has extreme potential for spiritual affairs or psychic types of tendencies. We see this with higher levels of our own members or people who are already gifted and have made leaps and bounds in spiritual cultivation. These are often deep, talented and wise people or entities.

Brown: Down to earth. Sensual, even sexual. When you see this aura usually you will find that they are organized in nature, usually pragmatic or practical or even rigid, but not always. It has more to do with balance. This seems to be the expression of the rational or logical left brain, but there is usually a characteristic that is hospitable, warm and intimate. It is a comforting and trustworthy presence to be around essentially and has a more rich and complex dynamic that needs exploring further. Depth of character.

Grey or Dull: Business mode. Often seen when people are working on autopilot (NPC). Organized or bored. We also see this when people sleep but they are not yet dreaming. Or when one suffers from severe mental disablement. Whereas you might see an orange aura with those who enjoy their work, you see grey around those who dislike what they are doing or are otherwise checked out mentally and spiritually. This can also simply be that they are just too busy physically to have much internal activity. If you look hard enough there is almost always an underlying color that is so dull that it appears greyish. For further context, try to make out that underlying color.

White: The highest energy output. Purity and energy. Newness as in a newborn or one who has been 'Reborn'. Clarity, innocence, balance of all energies, possibly an angelic presence. Often seen surrounding either newborns or the newly dead as well as beneficent entities. The most likely way you will see this is around those who are born again. That is to say those who have undergone a spiritual transformation and are starting anew. Otherwise, this is a special and significant individual if you consistently see them shrouded with a white aura. This however is also the most commonly mistaken color to see because of a known trick of the eye and the photoreceptors. Also, pure white is very rare and like grey there is usually an underlying color or two that are of lighter shades and coming across as white.

Black: Usually Injury, dysfunction, or disease. Absence as in Anti-matter, something which is capable of absorbing or sapping energy. Can entail wickedness. More often we see this when someone is diseased, especially with cancer, or struggling with severe mental problems like depression or suicidal tendencies. We have even seen this when someone is merely overworked, so be careful about jumping to conclusions about this person. If it is an entity however such as a ghost, this appearance is created by an absence of light. This does not always mean a threatening presence, but often does. Trickster spirits all the way to demons. It can simply be such an old spirit that there are no longer any photons attached to it. But even then it should be noted that any spirit that old that is still attached to the world and still not absolved... well, there is likely a troublesome reason. 'Shadow people', the 'hat man' and others are quite popular sightings. In the same way that purely white or grey colors are rare but are usually underlying colors with lighter or duller shades, you will see darkened shades of colors which offer a lot of interpretation. For instance, an underlying color of yellow that is being clouded and darkened with black might mean that they are mentally consumed with negative thoughts and obsessions, perhaps jealousy or other crippling worry.

Silver: Sincere, idealistic and fresh. A crisp clean feeling and refreshing presence is felt with an aura such as this. Many successful speakers, business leaders and pastors have this quality of aura. This is either someone who IS trustworthy or someone who is such a great charismatic presence they naturally charm others by projecting idealistic feelings and qualities. They can easily be tricksters or mercurial in nature, rapidly changing. Because of this changing quality and the rarity, among other reasons, this may be the aura type we currently know the least about.

Gold: Wisdom, spiritual mastery/Enlightened. Though you would think that the color would be hard to discern from yellow or orange, there is usually no mistaking this aura. There is often a feeling behind this aura and the aura will be bigger. It will seem to influence all around it with a shiny pulsating consistency. It is hard to explain but this is also among the rarest occurrences. To see a gold aura means you are in the presence of a spiritual master or World Teacher. One of great world significance. Someone who will do great things. Otherwise it is a particularly powerful entity.
